We know how important it is for our overseas students to obtain their proper documentation in a timely manner. When students apply to American Language School before they receive their I-20 Form, I-901, and their acceptance letter, there are a few documents they must send to AELS for their admissions to be processed smoothly and quickly. Students must first apply to American English Language School. The application can be found by clicking the following link, https://www.aels.edu/downloadable/AELS_Student_Enrollment_Application_(updated_09-26-19).pdf. In addition to their application, students must also submit a copy of their valid passport, proof of the highest level of education completed, and an English certificate of a bank balance of USD 26,400.
After the successful submission of all the above documents, the admissions department at AELS will send the student their letter of acceptance and bank information. The bank information will be utilized to secure the student’s processing fee of $500. The processing fee is composed of the following: SEVIS I-901 Fee $350, AELS Application Fee $100, and Express Mailing Fee $50.
AELS admissions will review all submitted documents, and after confirmation of the student’s processing fees have been received, the admissions department will send an I-20 Form, I-901, and the AELS acceptance letter by international mail. We choose to send all documents via international mail because we want to certify that our students are receiving their papers in an expedited manner. Admissions to an overseas school can be daunting, and we at American English Language School are here to help our students throughout the entire admissions process.
