How Our Placement Process Works
Schedule Your Placement Test
Tests are scheduled 1-2 weeks prior to the start of your class. There is a $100 fee that gets credited toward your tuition upon enrollment.
Complete the Assessment
The test includes multiple-choice reading and listening questions, plus a speaking section with 10-20 questions on various topics.
Get Placed at the Right Level
We'll evaluate your scores and place you at the appropriate level that allows you to learn effectively without struggling.

The placement test typically takes around 2 hours to complete. This includes time for the multiple-choice reading and listening sections, as well as the speaking assessment.
Please bring a valid photo ID, the $100 test fee (which will be credited toward your tuition), and be prepared to pay your full tuition on the same day. You may also want to bring a bottle of water and a light snack.
We carefully design our placement process to ensure you're in the right level for optimal learning. If you still feel your placement doesn't reflect your abilities, you have the following options:
- Move up a level: A retest fee of $75 applies (this fee is not credited toward tuition).
- Move down a level: You may drop down by one level free of charge without retaking the test.

If you miss the placement test, your enrollment may be canceled. Please ensure you attend as scheduled.
The placement test will be held at our main campus: 3230 E. Imperial Hwy, Suite 125, Brea, CA 92821, regardless of your regular campus. Please be sure to confirm this location for your placement test.
