If you want to come to the United States of America to study, you will need an F-1 visa. The F-1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows you to come to the U.S. as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school, or language training program that is approved by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).
Studying full-time is defined as more than 18 hours a week. After you decide that you want to study in the U.S., you need to decide which school that you want to apply to. Your children must be unmarried and under 21. They can also travel in and out of the U.S. as long as you maintain your status. Unfortunately, you may not study full time or work while on an F-1 or F-2 visa.
