Kiley T.

Hi, my name is Kiley T., and I believe in creativity and student empowerment in every lesson. I earned a B.A. in Linguistics from California State University, Fullerton and hold a TESOL certificate, which together ground my teaching in both theory and practical classroom experience.

I have eight years of experience teaching diverse learners—from elementary classrooms to adult education and online tutoring—with an emphasis on communicative, student-centered instruction. As a former private tutor, I understand the unique challenges each learner faces and tailor lessons to their individual goals, whether conversational fluency, exam prep, or business English.

I believe in creating a welcoming environment where students build confidence through interactive activities, authentic materials, and regular feedback. Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking local trails, practicing photography, and volunteering with community literacy programs. These experiences enrich my teaching and help me bring real-world contexts into the classroom.
