Hi! My name is Kristen O.

I hold a B.A. in English Education from Lesley University and an internationally accredited TESOL certificate.

Over the past 20 years, I have taught English in diverse settings—from K–12 classrooms and university prep courses to corporate training workshops and one-on-one online tutoring. I have guided students through exam preparation (TOEFL, IELTS), conversation skills, writing proficiency, and business-English modules, developing dynamic and engaging lessons that adapt to each learner’s needs.

My teaching philosophy centers on clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and student-centered instruction. I build strong rapport with learners by using authentic materials, interactive activities, and regular formative feedback, empowering students to gain confidence and reach their academic and personal goals.
